The Amazing Hit
6-0 it was not going as planned. It was only the 1st inning and we were down 6-0.We were at White Oak’s City Park playing a baseball game. In the bottom of the forth we tied it up 6-6,off of my teammate’s 3 run double and other teammate’s 3 run triple.
Next batter “Jordan Banks” bases loaded, one out, high fastball, (just where he likes it), he swings. BOOM! It’s a HIGH DEEP fly ball and this one is long gone out of here. HOME RUN! GRAND SLAM! “What a hit,” his dad said.”That was his first grand slam in his whole 4 year baseball career. At the end of the of the game the (MVP), Most Valuable Player was yours truly, Jordan Banks.
I was so happy for him that he had hit a grand slam, because he did that we would make it to State and maybe go on to the World Series.
At the end of the game it was 25-6. We never gave up on that game or the others, (neither should you if you want to reach your goal.) It made me super excited because now we could go to State and eventually go to the World Series.
Show the World
“Do you think bullying is fun? Do you think getting bullied is fun? No, then step up show the world that you think bullying isn’t right and maybe people will follow you do what you do and maybe turn out to be your best friend.”
What Would I Do Without Seeing
My favorite sense is seeing of course, but I don’t know what I would do without seeing. wouldn’t be able to write, read, and plenty of other stuff, especially sports.
Without being able to see I probobly wouldn’t have the life I have right know. I wouldn’t have thc friends I have, maybe even the school I’m at.
Without sports I wouldn’t know tic I hit a home run or a foul ball. Or if I scored a touchdown or ran the other way.
Being able to see is my favorite sense because I wouldn’t have what I have and do what I can do.

“He’s The Best Friend I’ve Ever Had”
When I moved to White Oak I didn’t know a lot of people. This boy named Mason West asked me to sit by him at lunch. Right then I knew he was going to be a good friend.
Mason is my best friend in White Oak. We go to the same school and have four classes with each other. Mason is like a brother to me because we do everything together.
In the summer, when we are not playing baseball we ride bikes a long way away from our houses, but we manage to get back before dark. We also play many games like tag or hide and seek. At school we are cool because we have the same swag.
When we are off on the weekends we do silly things to each other. We prank each other, that’s fun, but if you prank someone be ready for them to prank you back. Another thing we do is play his Xbox 360, “He kills me in that every time”. My favorite thing is that we talk a lot to each other and we talk about serious things.
Even when we fight we are still best friends. He’s the best friend I’ve ever had and that’s why he is my hero.
SWISH
It was the forth period,
My team was down nine points.
My team gave my the ball,
SWISH.
I had just made it a six point game,
With that basket I would have 27 points.
My teammate also made a 3 pointer
Down by 3, 29 seconds on the clock.
I make a bank shot, other teams ball.
I make a steal, I held the ball tell 3 seconds on the clock,2
I shoot, 1 SWISH
We won 78-77.

Cutters
It was the middle of the summer in 2012, my mom and I were talking if I wanted to play football or continue playing baseball, because my season had just ended.
So the next day I had made my decision , it was to play football.I had already had my pads and all the other gear , all I was missing was football gloves. I called up my friend Trenton to see if if he had decided to play football or not, he said, “Yes what about you.” I told him ,“Yep.” He said “The best gloves are Cutters and they’re $40.”
When my mom got home that night I asked her if I could get Cutter gloves for football, my mom said,” Sure as long as I don’t drop the ball.
The next day was football sign ups , so my mom and I went straight to the football fields and signed me up. After that we went to academy in Longview, Tx. Once we got there we went right to the football gloves and there they were, Cutters. When my mom looked down at the price she was flabbergasted “$40.” my mom said in shock.”Ok John.“ My mom told me. So when was time time for practice I got my gloves and helmet, then my mom took me to the fields.
At practice we were warming up and i didn’t drop one pass.
After practice my friends and coaches ask me, “Where did you get those gloves.” I said “ Academy in Longview, Tx. “Even though they were $40 they are worth buying them”
With the right gear you will do better.
