The Amazing Hit

6-0 it was not going as planned. It was only the 1st inning and we were down 6-0.We were at White Oak’s City Park playing a baseball game. In the bottom of the forth we tied it up 6-6,off of my teammate’s 3 run double and other teammate’s 3 run triple.

Next batter “Jordan Banks” bases loaded, one out, high fastball, (just where he likes it), he swings. BOOM! It’s a HIGH DEEP fly ball and this one is long gone out of here. HOME RUN! GRAND SLAM! “What a hit,” his dad said.”That was his first grand slam in his whole 4 year baseball career. At the end of the of the game the (MVP), Most Valuable Player was yours truly, Jordan Banks.

I was so happy for him that he had hit a grand slam, because he did that we would make it to State and maybe go on to the World Series.

At the end of the game it was 25-6. We never gave up on that game or the others, (neither should you if you want to reach your goal.) It made me super excited because now we could go to State and eventually go to the World Series.
